The Relationship Testing Accreditation Program is based on standards for the performance of tests for parentage and provides for the assessment and accreditation of laboratories performing parentage testing. This list of AABB-Accredited Parentage Testing Laboratories specifies those laboratories in the US that have attained AABB accreditation in parentage testing. The American Association of Blood Banks collects annual statistics from parentage testing laboratories in the United States and abroad. The Parentage Testing Standards Program Unit is proud to present the most current data obtained from the Parentage Testing Annual Report Form. The 2006 Annual Report Summary presents information regarding case volumes, trends and changes in technologies, and mutation rates for RFLP and PCR methods.
