The American Embassy demanded the DNA Testing and they sent my brother's specimens to LabCorp. After the American Embassy in Ethiopia received the undesirable result, they denied my brother and his family an entry visa because the Lab did not establish a sibling relationship with me. The lab did not suggest additional testing either. Basically, my brother and I were considered liars. The document was sent back to the US Home Land Security Fraud Investigation Department. I refused to accept this allegation because I knew my brother and I were real half siblings.



Unfortunately, the American Embassy rejected the notion of second testing, but I insisted based on my assumption that the test was wrong; and requested for a second test for validity and reliability purposes. The Embassy refused to agree to this idea. Thanks to my husband for locating you from his search on the WEB. Through serious consultation and rigorous efforts, you proved my case by reconstructing my father’s DNA through testing an additional four of my half siblings. 



However, the result was rejected by USCIS with no scientific explanations but claiming no bona fide relationship existed. Therefore, the case was transferred to the executive board out of the State. The executive board sent me a letter of denial agreeing with USCIS' decisions. Finally, I hired a lawyer and the case was presented to the Federal Court, not only the test results but also all other supportive evidence. The Federal court requested the executive board reasons for the denial of the second DNA result. In turn, the executive board requested USCIS reasons for the denial; and this time, recommend to USCIS that if there was no scientific reasons for the denial, to consider granting me the approval. This request was granted. 



My brother and his family came to join me and our other siblings. One cannot fathom enough the implication of a false identity result to the whole generation of my family. Thanks to you for giving me my family back. 



I just want to thank you Steve and staff for the professional conduct such as showing me respect, maintaining both your ethical and legal responsibilities as well as maintaining fidelity to the method of the scientific inquiry in establishing the biological sibling identity between my brother and I.
